This year, the spotlight is on young Kiwis who are increasingly becoming kitchen strangers, the Foundation said. According to the figures released recently by the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM), a Washington trade group, shipments of major appliances like dishwashers, refrigerators, freezers, ranges and ovens rose to 2.8 million units in April from 2.6 million units in April 2012.
