The latest addition to Fisher & Paykel’s gas cooktop range is being compared to a Ferrari.
According to F&P, the newly launched Gas on Glass cooktop shares many attributes of the Italian car – “both feature sleek lines and loads of grunt” and are on display at the esteemed Sydney Seafood School.
The Gas on Glass cooktop also has high quality, easy to clean, eco-friendly ceramic glass.
“Our guests have enjoyed cooking on the Gas on Glass cooktops – most of them prefer cooking with gas,” Manager of Sydney Seafood School, Roberta Muir said.
The Gas on Glass cooktop is equipped with powerful burners, which is perfect for providing the high performance grunt needed in a classroom environment.
The dual control wok burner provides the bulk of this power and is a crowd favourite at the Sydney Seafood School.
“We particularly love the wok burner which has plenty of oomph,” Muir said.
For delicate cooking such as simmering and sauce making, The Gas on Glass’ auxiliary burner can go down to low temperatures.
The Gas on Glass boasts a polished stainless steel trim and control knobs that complement sleek blackness of the glass.
Inspired by European styling, the Gas on Glass won Silver at the 2011 New Zealand Best Awards and is an entrant in the 2012 Australian International Design Awards.
“Sydney Seafood School is at the forefront of cooking schools in Sydney. The appliances there need to be built to last with the thousands of guests that take classes each year,” Brand Manager for Fisher & Paykel Australia, Kara Phillips said.
The Gas on Glass cooktops are available in 900mm five burner, 600mm four burner and 600mm three burner configurations, with Natural Gas or LPG options, for home use as well.
